About DBS Foundation
Established in 2014, DBS Foundation is committed to uplifting lives and livelihoods of those in need. It provides essential needs to the underprivileged, and fosters inclusion by equipping the underserved with financial and digital literacy skills. It also nurtures innovative social enterprises that create positive impact. It aims to bring hope to those with less today, so no one is left behind and we can all face the future with confidence.
In 2024, DBS committed up to SGD 1 billion dollars over the next decade to support vulnerable communities. It also pledged to contribute 1.5 million employee volunteer hours over the same period.
With ageing societies becoming a pressing concern, DBS Foundation is intensifying efforts to shape mindsets and spark interventions – so that regardless of life stage or circumstance, there is opportunity to age with dignity, purpose and joy
Together with an ecosystem of like-minded partners, DBS Foundation seeks to create impact that goes beyond banking, beyond borders, and beyond generations.

About the Garden of Hope Foundation
Founded in 1988, the Garden of Hope Foundation began with a belief: every survivor deserves safety, dignity, and the chance to rebuild life on their own terms. We started by creating safe houses for young women who had survived human trafficking, supporting them on their journey toward independence and hope.
-
Over the past three decades, our work has grown to address gender-based violence in all its forms—including domestic violence and sexual assault. Today, we operate more than 50 service centers across 15 counties and cities in Taiwan, supporting nearly 20,000 survivors each year as they reclaim lives free from violence.
-
As Taiwan’s society has become more diverse, so has our mission. In 2011, we launched hotlines and shelter services for migrant workers facing hardship. In 2020, we established the Migrant Service Center, expanding support to migrant workers, their children, international students, and migrant professionals. To date, we have assisted over 1,000 migrant workers and delivered more than 6,000 professional consultations.
We envision a Taiwan where nationality does not limit opportunity—where everyone feels safe, supported, and empowered to pursue their dreams.
Guided by our core values of Respect and Dignity, we work alongside international partners, government agencies, civil society, corporate allies, and migrant communities to build a more inclusive society—one where everyone living in Taiwan can thrive.

HCHS Scheme: Building a Sustainable Ecosystem for Collective Care.
No one should ever walk the caregiving journey alone. We firmly believe that a family can only find long-term peace of mind, and society can only move forward, when the care recipient, the migrant caregiver, and the employing family all receive stable support.
The HCHS Scheme is more than just a service; it is an empowerment ecosystem built on technology and humanity, dedicated to fostering mutual trust and collective well-being among all three parties. We recognize the dedication and stress of every caregiver, and we understand every family's desire for trust and stability.
We believe that true, lasting change begins when we see each other's needs and build a stable, trusting relationship network.
